Cause: CF client corrupted. Step 1: Scan PC for viruses. Step 2: Uninstall/Delete corrupted client (Crossfire Folder) Default Destination: For Win 7/XP (32bit) C:\Program Files\GameClub\Philippines\CrossFire

Step 5: After installing the client please ensure to include your CF folder to your anti-virus/firewall to avoid false positive detection. Step 6: Run CFlauncher.
Cause: Server Maintenance / Crossfire Server Down / No internet connection / ip blocked
Step 1. Check for announcements if there is a server maintenance. Step 2. If there's no server maintenance, check the forums or the news on crossfire's website for technical issue announcements. Step 3. Wait for the up time of the Crossfire servers to be able to play.
Cause: Repetition of patching or patch update failed. Step 1: Check the version.ini file make sure it is updated. Step 2: Download and install our latest and patch update in our CF Website Manual Patch / Cumulative Patch: >>Download<< Step 3: Please make sure to turn off your anti-virus/firewall before patching the file.
If error still occur Step 1: Right click the version.ini file then uncheck the read-only. Step 2: Change the latest version to 1084 then save. Step 3: Right click the version.ini file again then check the read-only. Step 4: CFLauncher.
Cause: Problem with Security Program/s (eg. Anti-Virus, Internet Security..) Step 1: Exclude the files that are falsely detected by the security program installed in your pc. Step 2: Check for any third party program that may cause corrupted client. If your client is corrupted, try downloading the aegis file here >>Download<< Step 3: Please make sure to check the file version of your CF client. Latest Version = 1084
b. Uncheck the read-only attribute. c. Double click the version.ini open as notepad. d. Change the latest version to 1084 then save (press Ctrl+S). e. Right click version.ini again then go to properties. f. Make sure that the version.ini file is checked read-only.
Cause: False Detection of your antivirus programs. Step 1: Disable the antivirus program. Step 2: Download patcher_cf2.exe >>Download<< Step 3: Paste it on your crossfire folder. Step 4: Make sure the version.ini is in read-only. Step 5: Run as administrator the "patcher_cf2.exe". Step 6: Configure your antivirus settings. Add CF folder in your antivirus exceptions or exclusions list. Step 7: Enable your antivirus program. Step 8: Run CFLauncher.
